Georgia at LSU: Three things to know
- The Dawgs opened the season 7-0 SU/4-2 ATS across the first seven games, but they are coming off an 83-73 loss in Athens, Ga., Dec. 30 against Mississippi State as three-point favorites as the Over (142.5) connected.
- Like UGA, the Tigers are coming off a loss. They were toppled by rival Florida in Gainesville, Fla., Jan. 2 by an 83-79 score as 2.5-point underdogs as the Over (153) cashed. The Over hasn’t hit in two straight for the Tigers since the first two games of the season Nov. 26-28 against SIUE and St. Louis.
- The trends point to the visitors from Georgia in this one, as the underdog is an impressive 8-2-1 ATS in the past 11 meetings between the two SEC teams.

Georgia at LSU: Odds, betting lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
LSU 79, Georgia 74
Money line (ML)
LSU (-500) should be able to push past Georgia (+375) in this one, but risking five times your potential return on a team coming off a disappointing loss is not a recommended play. AVOID.
Against the spread (ATS)
GEORGIA +9.5 (-110) covered its only game as an underdog so far this season, winning 83-68 against Cincinnati catching a bucket in Athens Dec. 19. The Bulldogs are 4-1 ATS in the past five games following a non-cover, and they’re 5-1 ATS in the past six road outings against a team with a home winning percentage over .600.
Over/Under (O/U)
UNDER 157.5 (-110) is the play, although it’s going to be close. Georgia has racked up 80.1 PPG this season, while LSU is even more prolific with 85.9 PPG to rank 16th in the nation. The Tigers are also hitting nearly half of every field-goal attempt, ranking 22nd in the country at 49.9 percent. They’re a very good free-throw shooting team, too, hitting at 79.5 percent to rank 12th in the land.
