The 2023 Cleveland Browns season draws closer and closer as offseason workouts continue and training camp is set to kick off next month. It has been a great offseason for general manager Andrew Berry who has been aggressive in plugging roster holes hoping to field a contender in the fall.

Though the roster does still have a few areas they could improve on overall the team on paper should be one of the best talent-wise. Could Berry make other moves before the team opens training camp in late July? Let’s take a look at this question as well as other reader questions in this edition of the Browns mailbag.

It has been a good offseason so far as the Cleveland Browns have added talent in needed areas, both through free agency and the 2023 NFL draft. Some of the biggest issues from last season, like the lack of run-stoppers, have already been addressed though the roster is far from perfect.

The team showed they weren’t done in free agency on Thursday when they address the lack of safety depth by signing versatile veteran Rodney McLeod. So after the offseason so far what are the biggest questions remaining with the roster and what can we expect from this year’s rookies, those answers and more are in this edition of the Browns mailbag.

Welcome to 2023 NFL draft eve. And while the draft may not carry as much luster for those who follow the Cleveland Browns as it once has given their lack of early picks for the second straight season, the team still possesses eight picks to add young talent to their roster on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. To celebrate, I reached out for mailbag questions specific to the draft. Doing my best to answer them all, I was able to hit the majority of them. Baylor defensive tackle Siaki Ika was a talking point, as was the wide receiver and linebacker class.

In conjunction with the Detroit Lions Podcast, we’re back with another video edition of the mailbag. Several interesting questions about the upcoming 2023 NFL draft, the Lions roster status at various positions, draft prospects who would be great and some who would make me cringe, and much more.

The video was recorded on Easter Sunday, so the Jeff Okudah questions were answered well before the trade to the Falcons materialized on Tuesday.

Browns Mailbag: Concern over lack of offensive coaching changes?

Is a lack of change a bad sign?

The offseason for the Cleveland Browns is in full effect with the NFL Scouting Combine kicking off in Indianapolis this week. The Browns announced eight coaching changes on Monday and some fans are not happy about not adding a new quarterback coach and voice to the room. With free agency and the draft taking place in the next couple of months, what will the Browns’ overall plan of attack be?

With the structure of the current roster and the cap situation, a lot of fans believe the Cleveland Browns are in win-now mode. Though the team is looking to build a long-term contender and not just focused on this year the team believes they can compete this year. They have addressed the most important position on the team and need to fix the holes in other areas.
