WATCH: Rachaad White takes screen pass 43 yards to the house

White continues to prove he’s a weapon if used in space.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers weapon Rachaad White has proven once again that when you get him in space, he can produce for you.

White took a screen pass from Baker Mayfield with a little under six minutes left in the first half 43 yards to the end zone to give the Bucs their first score of the day. Center Robert Hainsey and guard Cody Mauch led the blocking charge, and White wove through the defense and dove for the pylon for the score. The play was notable against the Titans defense, as it was only the second passing touchdown an opposing running back has scored against Tennessee this year.

WATCH: Rachaad White gets second rushing touchdown of the day

Rachaad White ran for a second touchdown much in the same manner as he did his first on Sunday.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White had his best game of the year against the Houston Texans in Week 9.

White scored his second touchdown on the day on a very similar one-yard run to tie the game up at the time of the play 30-30. The play was set up on a 54-yard deep bomb from Baker Mayfield to Mike Evans, and White was able to finish off the drive with six points.

WATCH: Paulson Adebo forces and recovers his own fumble vs. Bears

Have a day, Paulson Adebo. The New Orleans Saints cornerback continued his strong day against the Chicago Bears by forcing a fumble out of wide receiver DJ Moore with a well-timed punch — but he wasn’t done yet. Adebo fell on the loose ball for a recovery, his second takeaway of the game.

Plenty of defenders force fumbles. Many of them come away with recoveries, too. But it’s not too often you’ll see a player recover his own fumble. Adebo deserves a lot of credit for his hustle and situational awareness on a heads-up play. He’s quickly becoming a reliable playmaker in the Saints secondary.

Taysom Hill stamps his place in NFL history with latest touchdown

Taysom Hill stamped his place in NFL history with his latest touchdown catch:

Not too shabby. Taysom Hill stamped his place in NFL history with his touchdown catch against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, joining four other players in the “10-10-10” club. Frank Gifford, Red Grange, Charley Trippi, Jimmy Conzelman and Hill are the only players in league history to throw 10 touchdown passes and score 10 apiece as a runner and receiver.

It’s actually something Hill had already accomplished if you include the playoffs, but now you can leave that qualifier out. Hill has been a reliable scoring threat for the New Orleans Saints with 10 touchdown receptions, 10 touchdown passes and 26 rushing touchdowns in his career during the regular season.

The most recent player to reach the milestone was Gifford, the former New York Giants halfback who was a dynamic do-it-all threat in his illustrious 136-game career from 1952 to 1964. He ended his career with 34 rushing touchdowns, 43 touchdown catches and 14 touchdown passes. Gifford won an NFL championship with the Giants and earned eight Pro Bowl nods, plus four spots on the All-Pro team. Those are lofty heights for Hill to chase, but it’s great company to keep.

Update: Hill later threw a touchdown pass against the Bears, giving him 11 such scores in his career.

WATCH: Chris Olave catches red-zone touchdown pass vs. Bears

WATCH: Chris Olave catches red-zone touchdown pass vs. Bears

This is something we’ve been looking for: a Derek Carr touchdown pass in the red zone — going to Chris Olave. Both players have struggled to get on the same page in recent weeks, so this was a breath of fresh air for a New Orleans Saints offense that needed it.

Carr caught just his second touchdown pass this season late in the first quarter during Sunday’s game with the Chicago Bears. He and Carr have struggled to get in stride this season after building a lot of momentum over the summer, but this play put both their talents on display. Carr threw a great football under pressure, putting it where only Olave could reach it, and Olave secured it cleanly before going to the ground, making sure to fall forward into the end zone. It was a great play on both parts, and it’s something the Saints need to achieve more often.

WATCH: Rachaad White runs for a one-yard score to extend Tampa Bay’s lead

Bucs RB Rachaad White has had a good two weeks as of late, and he found the end zone in Week 9.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ run game picked up on Sunday, and that meant running back Rachaad White saw the end zone for the second time this year.

The Bucs got the ball back after Houston had to punt from their own end zone and made quick work getting down the field, utilizing White heavily on the drive. After some big plays from him, which included a 10-plus yard run to get into the red zone, he punched it in when the Bucs started from the one-yard line and handed him the football. The score extended Tampa Bay’s lead to 17-7 at the time of the play.

WATCH: Paulson Adebo bags his second interception in two games

Paulson Adebo bagged his second interception in two games, extending his hold on the Saints’ team lead:

Whew. Paulson Adebo is playing at a very high level right now — and he built on his team lead with another interception on Sunday against the Chicago Bears, his second takeaway in as many games.

The New Orleans Saints cornerback correctly read Bears quarterback Tyson Bagent’s intentions while dropping back in a Cover-2 defense; when the ball funneled his way, Adebo jumped the receiver’s route to pluck it out of the air. Bagent was looking for his tight end Cole Kmet, who caught a touchdown pass on the opening drive with Tyrann Mathieu in coverage, but Adebo made a play this time.

Adebo now leads the Saints with three interceptions on the year, putting him inside the top-10 among defenders leaguewide. Coverage penalties were a problem for Adebo earlier in the season but, to his credit, he’s cleaned things up and is now playing like the Saints’ best defensive back. He’s also forced and recovered a fumble this season. They’ll need more big plays from Adebo to get back to a winning record.

WATCH: Baker Mayfield hits Cade Otton for a three-yard score

Tampa Bay scored their second first-quarter touchdown all year against the Texans Sunday.

It doesn’t happen often this season, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers found themselves in the end zone in the first quarter during Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans.

The Bucs were able to move down the field and had their drive extended by a personal foul from the Texans on a late Baker Mayfield hit, and it eventually resulted in the team entering the red zone. The Bucs faced a 4th and short near the end zone, but the team went for it and converted on a Rachaad White run — not long after, quarterback Baker Mayfield found tight end Cade Ottom for a touchdown to give the Bucs the lead back. The touchdown is only the second first-quarter score from the Bucs this year.

WATCH: Lavonte David forces a fumble on Dalton Schultz

The Bucs defense got to work right away against the Texans with a turnover on Houston’s first drive.

Bucs linebacker Lavonte David made his presence known early.

Houston had the ball first on Sunday and were faced with a 3rd and 10, and when it looked like tight end Dalton Schultz was set to catch a pass from quarterback C.J. Stroud and move the chains, David interfered. He hit Schultz with a perfect “peanut punch” to knock the ball out, and safety Antoine Winfield Jr. was there to pick up the ball and get the ball back for the Bucs. Tampa Bay wouldn’t be able to capitalize, however, only getting three points out of the turnover.

WATCH: Dennis Allen addresses Saints locker room after their win over the Colts

WATCH: Dennis Allen addresses Saints locker room after their win over the Colts

It’s always good to see a victorious New Orleans Saints locker room. The team shared a look into their postgame celebrations after Sunday’s win over the Indianapolis Colts, including a speech from head coach Dennis Allen.

“Congratulations to everybody in this room. That was a good team that we played,” Allen said, pacing the room. “And that was a good team win that we had. And everything didn’t go exactly like we wanted it to all the time. We had to overcome a little bit of adversity at times. But that’s what good teams do. They overcome adversity when it hits.”

And the Saints did that. They overcame a 10-point deficit in the second quarter for the first time this season and just the second time with Allen at head coach; in eight other games, that proved enough to knock them out. Hopefully it’s the start of an upswing for them.
