After a scoreless first quarter from both teams, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have opened the scoring against the Atlanta Falcons, courtesy of running back Leonard Fournette.

Fournette capped off an 88-yard drive with a one-yard touchdown run, giving the Bucs a 7-0 lead in the second quarter. The score was set up by an incredible 25-yard strike from Brady to an outstretched Mike Evans, between multiple defenders.

That’s 51 yards on 10 touches already for Fournette, as the Bucs look to take hold of first place in the NFC South with a victory.

WATCH: Mike Evans stretches out for ridiculous catch vs. Falcons

Michael Lynn Evans III, folks.

Tom Brady didn’t target Mike Evans a single time in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.

He didn’t make the same mistake in the second quarter, targeting his fellow future Hall of Famer early on with a 25-yard pass that forced Evans to stretch out for an incredible catch.

We’re used to seeing these kinds of plays from Evans, but Bucs fans will never get tired of it.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ comeback was too little, too late Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs, as they dropped a 41-31 defeat in a rematch of Super Bowl LV at Raymond James Stadium.

Despite a big night on the stat sheet from Tom Brady and Mike Evans, the Bucs struggled with self-inflicted errors all game long, and their defense failed to maintain the dominant level of play we’d seen previously over the first three games of the year.

WATCH: Tom Brady hits Leonard Fournette for TD pass vs. Chiefs

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still putting up a fight Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs

It’s probably too little, too late, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren’t going down without a fight against the Kansas City Chiefs.

After an interception from cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting, Bucs quarterback Tom Brady quickly marched the offense the rest of the way, finishing off the scoring drive with a short touchdown pass to running back Leonard Fournette.

It’s 41-31 in favor of the Chiefs, with just under four minutes remaining in the game, but it’ll still take a miracle for the Bucs to pull this one off.

Bucs cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting jumped in front of a Patrick Mahomes pass late in the fourth quarter, adding a nice return to set up the Tampa Bay offense with solid field position.

It’s still a three-score lead for the visitors, but at least the Bucs aren’t going quietly, despite a forgettable performance in all three phases.

A third-round pick out of Arizona State, White has been on the field plenty Sunday night in place of veteran Leonard Fournette, as the Bucs try their best to keep both backs fresh for the long haul.

It’s a two-score lead now for Kansas City, but the Bucs are running out of time to mount a comeback.

For the second time in the same quarter, Tom Brady and Mike Evans found the end zone in epic fashion

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going away quietly despite a slow start Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs, and two future Hall of Famers are leading the way.

In the final seconds of the first half, Bucs quarterback Tom Brady found wide receiver Mike Evans in the corner of the end zone for their second touchdown connection of the second quarter, another “Stretch Armstrong” number from Evans to cut the Chiefs’ lead to 28-17.

This marks the eighth time in Evans’ career that he’s caught multiple touchdowns in the same quarter, and no NFL receiver has more multi-touchdown games (17) than Evans since he entered the league in 2014.

Brady found Mike Evans for a 30-yard gain earlier in the drive, then capped things off with a 13-strike to a leaping Evans for the touchdown.

It’s still 21-10 in favor of the Chiefs, but the Tampa Bay offense is finally showing signs of life.
