Julian Blackmon extended the lead to 30-0 with this pick six.

The rout is on.

The Indianapolis Colts extended their lead to 30-0 over the Minnesota Vikings during the second quarter when safety Julian Blackmon found himself in the perfect spot to intercept a pass from Kirk Cousins.

It was a short trip to the end zone after that as Blackmon took the interception 17 yards to the house for a pick-six, the first of his career.

The touchdown continued the shocking narrative that is developing Saturday at U.S. Bank Stadium as the Colts have now scored the second-most points in a game this season.

WATCH: Colts return blocked punt for TD vs. Vikings

Special teams unit came up big with a blocked punt return for a touchdown.

The special teams unit for the Indianapolis Colts continues to be one of the few bright spots in what has turned into a lost season.

Bubba Ventrone’s unit has a knack for making big plays and that continued Saturday on the national stage. After the defense got a quick stop on their opening drive, defensive end Ifeadi Odenigbo blocked a punt.

Undrafted rookie linebacker JoJo Domann recovered it and took it 24 yards for a touchdown to give the Colts a 10-0 lead halfway through the first quarter.

WATCH: Alec Pierce makes ridiculous contested TD catch

Alec Piece went UP for this TD catch.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce reminded everyone of his bright future Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys.

On a methodical drive, the Colts offense marched down the field. It ended with a ridiculous contested catch by Pierce in the end zone with a Cowboys defenders draped all over him.

The Colts went for the two-point conversion in an attempt to tie the game but failed.

Gilly Lock continues his excellent season.

Indianapolis Colts cornerback Stephon Gilmore continues to prove he’s among the elite cornerbacks in the league.

He showed that again Sunday night with a beautiful interception against Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. On a third down late in the second quarter, Gilmore stayed physical throughout Michael Gallup’s deep out route while maintaining outside leverage on the coverage.

It led to an easy interception, leading to a field goal for the offense on the ensuing drive.

WATCH: Ashton Dulin cooks Trevon Diggs on double move for TD

Ashton Dulin found the end zone with this sick double move.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Ashton Dulin got the offense in the end zone with a beautiful double move on Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs during the prime-time game Sunday night.

Late in the first quarter after the Cowboys scored their first touchdown of the night, the Colts answered with some explosive plays. Running back Jonathan Taylor had a 14-yard run while Alec Pierce made a great adjustment on a back-shoulder ball 45 yards down the field.

Two plays later, Dulin cooked Diggs on this double move perfectly for a wide-open touchdown to give the Colts a 10-7 lead.

Watch Michael Pittman Jr. give the Colts a lead with his first touchdown since Week 1.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. found the end zone Monday night for the first time since Week 1.

After a disastrous series of events as Jonathan Taylor botched a handoff at the goal line during the previous drive, the defense got a three-and-out. Then Matt Ryan marched down the field, connecting with rookie tight end Jelani Woods on passes of 16 yards and 28 yards.

This set up a beautiful back-shoulder fade to Pittman Jr. to give the Colts a 17-16 lead near the end of the third quarter.

WATCH: Dallis Flowers 89-yard kick return sets up Colts TD

Dallis Flowers provided the jolt. Jonathan Taylor punched it in.

The Indianapolis Colts entered halftime lagging far behind, but cornerback Dallis Flowers provided a jolt by taking the opening kickoff in the second half 89 yards.

Needing it in the worst way, the return got the Colts offense immediately into the red zone. A few plays later, running back Jonathan Taylor punched in a two-yard touchdown.

The Colts scored their first touchdown on an opening drive this season, courtesy of JT.

For the first time this season, the Indianapolis Colts scored on their opening drive.

It was a 10-play, 75-yard drive that resulted in the first points the Colts have scored on their opening drive this season. Not just a touchdown. Points.

Running back Jonathan Taylor was the lead on the drive, which included a 28-yard run after Michael Pittman Jr. caught a 24-yard pass on third down. Taylor wound up taking seven carries for 49 rushing yards and a touchdown at the goal line to cap off the drive.

Near the end of the third quarter, the Las Vegas Raiders took the lead on a goal-line run from Josh Jacobs. Taylor immediately answered on the next drive with this 66-yard touchdown run, his longest of the season.

WATCH: Colts’ Matt Ryan sneaks in TD vs. Raiders

The Jeff Saturday era begins with a Matt Ryan touchdown.

The Jeff Saturday era has begun, and his first scoring drive came via quarterback sneak with Matt Ryan against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 10.

Ryan surprisingly got the start over Sam Ehlinger on Sunday, a move that wasn’t completely out of pocket but one that did bring mild surprise.

On this drive, tight end Kylen Granson put up a 32-yard catch to get the Colts in the red zone. It was an 11-play, 70-yard drive and was the first touchdown Indy scored in the first quarter since Week 3.
