Cardinals activate OL Elijah Wilkinson, don’t elevate anyone from practice squad

Wilkinson had been injured since Week 6. He could return to the starting lineup at left guard.

The Arizona Cardinals announced a single roster move on Saturday to prepare them for their Week 15 home matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. They activated offensive lineman Elijah Wilkinson from injured reserve.

Wilkinson has been out since Week 6 with a neck injury. He started the first six games of the season at left guard. The Cardinals have had three other starters there since he got hurt.

It could mean a return to the starting lineup for him or he could back up Trystan Colon.

They did not elevate any player form the practice squad as they are permitted to. That signifies that they are healthy enough at cornerback and other positions that they don’t need the extra bodies.
