Coby White discusses career night in Bulls win over Kings

After the Chicago Bulls’ comeback win over the Sacramento Kings, Coby White discussed his career night.

The Chicago Bulls need to scrap for every win they can get at this point in the season. They find themselves in the mix of a wild Play-In race in the Eastern Conference, and while it’s looking very likely that they’ll end up in that realm, it’s far less likely that they break through and earn a regular playoff spot.

That said, anything can happen in a single-game elimination situation, so Chicago needs to keep fighting. Obviously, the play of DeMar DeRozan will be key, but Coby White has stepped up in a major way this season, too. Just the other night, the Bulls climbed all the way back for a win over the Sacramento Kings, and White put up a career-high 37 points.

“It was cool. It was dope,” White said. “I think it was a team effort. I don’t really look at it as, ‘Oh, me and [DeMar DeRozan] were doing this and that.’ I look at it as a good, solid team win, and I’m proud of our team. I was just letting the game come to me, not force it. . . . I just wanted to play in the flow of the offense.”

White’s monster season has been crucial to the Bulls’ success this year.

Billy Donovan discusses Bulls’ issues on offensive end

Chicago Bulls head coach Billy Donovan recently discussed the team’s lackluster offense.

The Chicago Bulls have had a pretty weird season. They struggled early on in the year and looked as though they were headed for a top pick in the lottery. Since then, they’ve been a lot better, but they’re still sitting in the middle of the pack in the Eastern Conference. They’ll end up being a Play-In team by the end of the year.

One of the biggest issues the Bulls have faced this season is inconsistent offense. The improvements of Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu have helped a bunch in that department, but the Bulls still have the ninth-worst offense in the NBA this season at 113.2.

“We just don’t score enough,” Donovan said. “We have droughts. When you’re playing against an elite offensive team, you have to at least maintain some level of pace. When we move the ball really well and generate shots and miss, we have to fight to get over that.”

Chicago needs to iron out their offensive problems, and the solution may have to come when they adjust their roster in the offseason.

DeMar DeRozan discusses Bulls’ inability to avoid clutch games

The Chicago Bulls play in a ton of close games, and DeMar DeRozan recently spoke about it.

As the season has gone on, the Chicago Bulls have maintained their spot in the Play-In race in the Eastern Conference. After a slow start, they’ve pulled themselves all the way back. But no matter how hard they try, the Bulls just can’t seem to avoid playing in close games on a nightly basis. They’re constantly fighting for tough victories.

Whether they win or lose, the Bulls have found themselves in close games time and time again. They’ve played in the third-most clutch games this season and the most clutch minutes in the league – 30 minutes more than the team in second place.

“We’re like a ‘Dateline’ episode or something,” DeRozan said. “It’s a crazy thing, but it’s big because we kind of relish in those moments and take it to another level. We try to continue to stress on not continuously putting ourselves in a tough position to dig ourselves out of a hole. It’s tough.”

Chicago has won some of their close games, but their lives would be much easier if they could avoid them.

Kings coach Mike Brown on tough emotions after Bulls comeback win

Sacramento Kings coach Mike Brown expressed the team’s dissappointment after the Chicago Bulls’ comeback win.

On Wednesday night, the Sacramento Kings had a win in the bag. They stomped the Chicago Bulls for the first three quarters of the game, amassing a 22-point lead at the height of their dominance in the third. It was an impressive display and one that a middling Kings team needed amidst their recent up-and-down stretch. But they didn’t win.

Instead, the Bulls stormed all the way back throughout the fourth quarter behind a 19-point final frame from DeMar DeRozan. Coby White even finished the night with a career-high 37 points. Chicago stole a win in Sacramento, and the Kings were devestated.

After the game, Kings head coach Mike Brown expressed the disappointment his team was feeling post-game.

“Obviously, everybody’s down because it was a winnable game,” Brown said via ESPN. “Even though we feel like we didn’t play well, we still felt it was a winnable game. We felt like we let this one slip through our fingers, and so it’s tough right now. It’s tough for anybody to swallow this one.”

The Kings may not be too pleased, but this was a huge win for the Bulls.

Relive the final few minutes of Bulls’ wild comeback win over Kings

Check out the highlights from the final few minutes of the Chicago Bulls’ comeback win over the Sacramento Kings

The Chicago Bulls have gone through a roller coaster this season. A slow start was flipped on its head by a solid stretch since then, and now, they are in the mix for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. At this point in the season, every win matters if they want to break through and earn a spot in the postseason (past the Play-In Tournament, that is).

On Wednesday night, they picked up a victory that looked like a loss for the first 40 minutes of the game. The Sacramento Kings were winning by 22 points at one point in the third quarter, but the Bulls fought all the way back and managed to earn a 113-109 win.

A fourth-quarter surge from the Bulls earned them the victory, and the NBA’s official YouTube channel posted a video of the final few minutes for fans to relive the impressive showing.

Led by DeMar DeRozan, Coby White, and Ayo Dosunmu, the Bulls scraped out a win in Sacramento.

Bulls star Coby White only cares about stacking wins

At this point in the season, all that matters is stacking wins, according to Chicago Bulls star Coby White.

At this point in the season, the Chicago Bulls are fighting tooth and nail for a spot in the playoffs. It’s unlikely that they will jump all the way up to the sixth seed in the East for a guaranteed spot, but climbing up the standings to secure a higher spot in the Play-In should help them break through.

On Wednesday night, the Bulls picked up a massive win over the Sacramento Kings after being down by as many as 22 points in the third quarter. They came all the way back and picked up a victory behind a pair of monster performances from DeMar DeRozan and Coby White.

“At this point in the season, however you can get wins, you’ve got to get wins,” White said. “You’ve got to start stacking wins. I don’t care how we get them. I don’t care how it looks. At the end of the day, if we win, that’s all we care about.”

White finished the night with a career-high 37 points, helping lead the Bulls past the Kings.

DeMar DeRozan shows love to Coby White after Bulls win over Kings

After the Chicago Bulls’ win over the Sacramento Kings, DeMar DeRozan dole out credit to Coby White.

The Chicago Bulls went into their game on Wednesday night looking to bounce back after a brutal loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. They were taking on the Sacramento Kings, who are fighting to remain in the playoff race in a tightly-contested Western Conference. In the third quarter, the Bulls were down by as many as 22 points, but they weren’t done fighting.

DeMar DeRozan poured in 19 fourth-quarter points, and the Bulls took home a win, coming all the way back after getting dominated for the majority of the contest. But DeRozan wasn’t the only guy who helped lead the way, as Coby White scored a career-high 37 points.

“His poise is there and he wants those moments even more,” DeRozan said. “Once you have that poise and want it more, outcomes like he has tonight happen more often.”

Having two guys like White and DeRozan who can come up big in the clutch is great for the Bulls.

DeMar DeRozan breaks down monster second half in Bulls win over Kings

After the Chicago Bulls’ comeback win over the Sacramento Kings, DeMar DeRozan spoke about his second-half performance.

The Chicago Bulls looked done for on Wednesday night. They were in California to take on the Sacramento Kings, and in the third quarter, they were down by as many as 19 points. A defeat would have marked their second in a row and their fourth loss in their last six games. Not great for a team looking to push their way up in the Play-In race.

However, DeMar DeRozan wasn’t going to let that happen. After attempting just one field goal in the first half, DeRozan exploded for a monster second half. Most notably, he scored 19 points in the fourth quarter, helping the Bulls overcome a 22-point third-quarter deficit. They picked up a miraculous 113-109 win over the Kings.

After the game, DeRozan spoke about what led to his monster second half.

“Some games I feel it right away and some games you’ve got to kind of ease into it,” DeRozan said via ESPN. “And just me knowing myself, I know at one point I was going to get it going. So, came through when we needed it.”

DeRozan finished the game with 33 points, four assists, and two steals while shooting 10-of-12 from the field and 2-of-3 from beyond the three-point arc.

Coby White’s career-high helps Bulls notch comeback win over Kings

Coby White dropped a career-high 37 points in the Chicago Bulls’ impressive comeback win over the Sacramento Kings.

On Wednesday night, the Chicago Bulls traveled West to take on the Sacramento Kings, and both teams were searching for a win amidst a recent up-and-down stretch. Unfortunately, through the first three quarters of the game, things were looking rough for the Bulls. The game looked like a loss in the making.

Down by as many as 22 points in the third, the Bulls were all but finished, but they weren’t going down without a fight. DeMar DeRozan’s 19 fourth-quarter points led the surge, but all night long, Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu were pouring in buckets, helping Chicago keep things as close as they could.

White ended the game with a career-high 37 points, and the Bulls Central YouTube channel discussed his performance and the comeback victory after the game.

This was a massive win for the Bulls and an extremely disappointing loss for the Kings, and White, Dosunmu, and DeRozan deserve a ton of credit.

Chicago Bulls fans should be very excited about Onuralp Bitim

Chicago Bulls fans should be hyped about having Onuralp Bitim on the squad.

Chicago Bulls fans haven’t had too much to get pumped up about this season. A slow start had fans itching for a rebuild, but then the Bulls turned their season around. They are now in the hunt to be a Play-In team and have a real shot at making the playoffs despite doing nothing at the trade deadline for the third year in a row.

But while the Bulls likely won’t make a deep playoff run and there are no no pieces that came through via trade, there are still some guys Chicagoans should keep a close eye on throughout the course of the rest of the season.

One of those guys is Onuralp Bitim, who the Bulls converted from a two-way deal to a standard contract. The CHGO Sports YouTube channel recently discussed why Bitim should be getting a ton of love from Bulls fans.

Bitim has made an impact in his short time on a standard deal, and his three-point shooting looks like a very valuable asset.
