New Browns WR Jerry Jeudy responds for first time since trade from Broncos

Jeudy is excited for a fresh start.

For the third time in three seasons, the Cleveland Browns have traded for a wide receiver. First it was Amari Cooper, then it was Elijah Moore, and now it is former first rounder Jerry Jeudy who comes to Cleveland by way of the Denver Broncos.

The Browns gave up just a fifth and a sixth round pick to acquire the services of Jeudy, who has racked up over 700 yards each of the last two seasons. While these numbers do not match the hype he had coming out of Alabama, a fresh start with the brown and orange may be just what Jeudy needs.

And for the first time since the news of his departure from the Broncos broke, Jeudy took to social media to respond. You can see Jeudy’s response to joining the Browns below, as he has stated, ” Only dawgs allowed.”

It sure seems like the former first rounder is ecstatic for his clean slate in Cleveland.

CB A.J. Green III says goodbye to Browns, city of Cleveland

After four years in Cleveland, the cornerback is off to Minnesota

After signing a futures deal with the Minnesota Vikings, cornerback A.J. Green III has said his goodbyes to the Cleveland Browns.

Green signed with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State after the 2020 NFL draft. He would then become a staple on the active roster for three years, where he even contributed and started games for the Browns. He racked up two career interceptions in that time. This year, however, he did not make the active roster and was signed back to the practice squad after he cleared waivers.

His time in Cleveland, however, is now over as he is off to Minnesota. He is not leaving without saying goodbye though, taking to social media to send out his love for Cleveland and the Browns:

“Thankful for the Last 4 Years in Cleveland   I appreciate the Fans, Front Office, Coaches, and Players I established a relationship with over the years!”

Best of luck to Green as his time in brown and orange has come to a close.

Browns players react as wild, fun ride comes to a close vs. Texans

The Browns saw their season come to an end after a loss to the Texans, and the players poured out their support for the city and fans.

The Cleveland Browns saw their roller coaster of a season come to an end with a 45-14 loss to the Houston Texans.

While the season did not end as the team or the fanbase had liked, there is a ton to like about the fight and resiliency the Browns showed this season. Not to mention, it is quite apparent the franchise finally has the right leadership in place to hang around for quite some time.

It does not make the loss any easier, however, as a red-hot team stumbled to the finish line in the Wild Card round. And the players heard and felt that hurt as well, taking to social media to express their feelings about the loss to the Texans.

Filled with gratitude for the city, apologies for the lack of an outcome, and reflection, here are how Browns players reacted on social media as their season comes to a close.

Browns Twitter reacts to Christmas Eve victory over the Texans for win 10

The Browns, behind historic showings from Joe Flacco and Amari Cooper, beat down the Texans. Here is how Browns Twitter reacted.

What a day for the Cleveland Browns on the road in Houston as they secured a decisive victory. The game wasn’t nearly as close as the score at the end would suggest with two late scores against backups for the Texans. Quarterback Joe Flacco continues to tell Father time to leave him alone with another 300-yard passing game, with over 250 going to wide receiver Amari Cooper.

You could tell from the first play that Cooper and Flacco were in sync as the pair created big play after big play. It feels like we have not had a quarterback playing at a level like this consistently for a month since the return, it has been fun to watch.

The defense heard all of the noise about being unable to perform at a high level on the road. Though Myles Garrett didn’t get home Za’Darius Smith and company took care of that. The passing defense had one of its best coverage days to get the win, here is how Browns’ Twitter reacted.

Browns players react to another win vs. Texans as playoffs now within grasp

The Browns are feeling themselves after the win against the Texans. Here is how Greg Newsome II, Maurice Hurst, and other reacted on Twitter

The Cleveland Browns set records on their way to their tenth win of the season, taking down the Houston Texans by a score of 36-22. Wide receiver Amari Cooper set the new franchise mark for receiving yards in a game, 38-year-old Joe Flacco continues to sling the football all over the field, and the defense created two takeaways. And cornerback Greg Newsome II and defensive tackle Maurice Hurst were feeling it on social media after the game.

Now as the Browns return home to take on the New York Jets on Thursday night, they have a chance to clinch their first playoff berth since 2020. Doing this in front of their home crowd at Cleveland Browns Stadium has the potential to be an electric evening off of Lake Erie.

Here is how the players reacted on social media after the Browns came away with their third straight win, virtually locking themselves into the playoffs.

Browns QB Joe Flacco draws praise from two Cavaliers greats on social media

More support for the Browns signal caller

Another 300-yard passing game for quarterback Joe Flacco as the starting quarterback of the Cleveland Browns, totaling 374 yards and two touchdowns in the win over the Chicago Bears. And it has not gone unnoticed by two other Cleveland greats in Donovan Mitchell and LeBron James.

After another big game from Flacco two Cleveland Cavalier greats, Mitchell and James, took to social media to praise Flacco. It was truly another fun and exciting Browns game that ended in a win after they had to win ugly December football. Flacco talked about it last week about how you have to win games like this late in the year.

The Browns’ new starting quarterback came up clutch with a great fourth-quarter performance to snag another victory for Cleveland. Right now you just cannot count the Browns out in the fourth quarter if the game is close.

For now, the Browns have a great chance to make the postseason as they will go on the road to take on the Texans next week. If they take care of their business they will have their second playoff appearance for Kevin Stefanski.

Browns players react on social media to comeback win vs. Bears

The Browns did it in dramatic fashion again, this time against the Bears. And the locker room is feeling it as they advance to 9-5.

The Cleveland Browns have every reason to be feeling themselves right now after their come-from-behind win against the Chicago Bears. Trailing 17-7 heading into the fourth quarter, Joe Flacco caught fire, leading the Browns to three scoring drives and a win. They now advance to 9-5 on the season and have a firm hold on the fifth seed as this week bounced their way on multiple occasions.

They saw tight end David Njoku and wide receiver Amari Cooper rise to the occasion, and the defense did what the defense has done at home all season. Now with three games to go, the Browns will travel to take on the Houston Texans this week, looking to close out their season on a strong note.

Here are some of the best tweets from Browns players after this exciting win against the Bears to put them firmly in the driver’s seat toward their first postseason appearance since 2020.

Maurice Hurst sends heartfelt message to Browns, Cleveland after season-ending injury

After suffering a season-ending injury, defensive tackle Maurice Hurst has sent a heartfelt message to the Browns and Cleveland.

The Cleveland Browns have gotten overwhelmed with injury news over the past two days. The devastating news is that standout defensive tackle Maurice Hurst has been placed on Injured Reserve. He is now out for the remainder of the season.

As he heads to the IR, Hurst made a point to express his gratitude to his fellow teammates, the Browns, and the city of Cleveland:

“My 2023 season is over, and the frustration is unbearable. However I am grateful to my teammates, coaches, staff, and the city of Cleveland for welcoming me and making me a part of this family…. I’ll be back better than before.”

Hurst was one of the better pass rushing defensive tackles in all of football this season, finishing his year top 15 in pass rush win rate. As he is once again set for free agency again this offseason, a return to the Browns and Cleveland would put a silver lining on another injury for the veteran defensive tackle.

Browns Twitter reacts to difficult loss on the road vs. Rams

Cleveland drops another one on the road

The Cleveland Browns had a chance again late this week to win another game but a crushing interception from Joe Flacco took that chance away. This was after Flacco had a pretty impressive debut considering he signed with the team just a couple of weeks ago and Amari Cooper went out with an injury. Kevin Stefanski should at least feel good about the passing offense today against the now 6-6 Los Angeles Rams.

The defense was picked apart by another good offensive coach in Sean McVey as they were exploited over and over again. They could not get pressure on Matthew Stafford all day as they exploited the defense’s aggressive play with misdirection all day long. They couldn’t come up with enough stops in the second half and Cleveland dropped to 7-5.

It was a bit of a rollercoaster overall as they had highs and lows like they always seem to have. Let’s take a look at how Browns Twitter reacted to the loss to the Rams.

Browns vets hilariously strap rookie defensive linemen with $40k dinner tab

The vets stuck the rookies with a hefty tab…

Fun, hilarious rookie hazing happens in the NFL every year, and a bit of it took place for the Cleveland Browns last night. As the team travels and spends the week in Los Angeles as they prepare for the Rams, the defensive linemen went out for dinner together. And rookie defensive linemen Siaki Ika and Isaiah McGuire got a “welcome to the NFL” moment.

As the check from the dinner came due, all of the veterans huddled around the youngsters, sticking them with a tab of nearly $40,000 on the night. They knew their famous rookie dinner was coming eventually, and the bill finally came due for McGuire and Ika.

This team seems bonded better than any other Cleveland team before them. This joint dinner among the defensive linemen headlined by a good bit of fun with the rookies is just another example. Hopefully, this all leads to a rebound win for the Browns as they stay in Los Angeles for the week.
