Caris LeVert’s health was really saved by the James Harden trade

The James Harden trade came right on time.

The James Harden trade really came right on time for Caris LeVert.

The Pacers guard was included in the four-team deal that shipped Harden to Brooklyn and him to the Indiana Pacers. As he was undergoing his physical with the team, they discovered an apparent mass on his kidney.

No one knew what it was or had any idea that it was there before LeVert’s physical with the Pacers. On Tuesday, we found out that LeVert apparently needed to be treated for kidney cancer, according to reporting from The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

He successfully underwent surgery on Tuesday and won’t need any further treatment, which is absolutely amazing news.

The Pacers are also making it a priority to get him healthy.

This is excellent news on all accounts.

Without the Harden trade, it’s hard to tell when LeVert would’ve been diagnosed or how bad things would’ve gotten. Luckily, this was revealed early and he’s expected to make a full recovery.

The James Harden trade really came right on time. Shoutout to LeVert. Get well soon.
