Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride was missed in Week 4 as he was unavailable, going through the league concussion protocol for the injury he suffered in the fourth quarter of their game in Week 3.
He is on track to play in Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Head coach Jonathan Gannon told reporters Wednesday morning that McBride was coming out of protocol and would be out there for Wednesday’s practice.
The first injury report of the week will come out Wednesday afternoon. We will see whether or not he is limited at practice to start the week.
Gannon also said that defensive lineman Khyiris Tonga, who missed the game with a knee injury, would also return to practice.
