The Arizona Cardinals are bringing back a core special teams player they had late in the season. They announced that receiver Dan Chisena was signed ti a futures contract for 2024.
Chisena was on the Cardinals’ practice squad late in the season and was elevated to the active roster to play in the final three games. He appeared in four games total. He played one offensive snap in four games and 53 special teams snaps with a pair of tackles.
After the season, the Cardinals released Chisena before his contract expired, allowing him to sign with the Baltimore Ravens’ practice squad. He played in both the Ravens’ postseason games.
Now he is set to spend at least the offseason with the Cardinals, hoping to impress enough to find a more permanent spot on the roster.
