Cardinals re-sign Markus Golden to two-year deal

The Cardinals decided not to let linebacker Markus Golden walk out the door again.
Just as the NFL’s legal tampering period was opened on Monday, the Cardinals announced that Golden was re-signed to a two-year deal worth up to $9 million.
Golden was a second-round pick of the Cards in 2015 but left for the Giants via free agency last offseason. After early struggles, the Giants traded him back to the team that drafted him for a sixth-round pick in 2021.
In his return to Arizona, Golden played in eight games and had 21 tackles, three sacks, an interception, and fumble recovery
