Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has not played since tearing his ACL in the Los Angeles Rams’ Super Bowl win last year. He held a workout to show teams that he is healthy and ready to play football again.
The workout, held in Arizona, had several teams in attendance.
According to CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones, the Arizona Cardinals were one of those teams.
In all, 12 teams were reported present.
The Cardinals don’t necessarily have a hole at receiver or a spot on the roster for him, but if they trade DeAndre Hopkins, that could change quickly.
Adding Beckham to a room that includes Marquise Brown and Rondale Moore would be formidable.
Naturally, because the workout was in Arizona, even if the Cardinals don’t have much interest, it makes sense to at least attend.
We will see what movement there is with Beckham in the days and weeks to come.
