Cardinals on verge of intensive COVID protocols with 3 positives tests this week

Chandler Jones and two members of the Cardinals’ staff have tested positive for COVID-19. One more and they will enter intensive protocols.

The Arizona Cardinals have one player on the COVID list, as linebacker Chandler Jones tested positive for COVID-19 this week. It is believed he is unlikely to play because he has developed symptoms.

He is the only player on the COVID list as of Thursday but the team is very close to having to enter intensive protocols.

According to ESPN’s Dan Graziano, there have been three positive tests in the organization this week. Jones is one and there are two members of the staff who tested positive.

With a fourth positive test, it would trigger last season’s protocols for the team with increased testing, masking and distancing.

The team is 100% vaccinated and so is the staff.
