Cardinals land OL Doug Kramer on waiver claim

The Cardinals add some O-line depth with injuries popping up.

The Arizona Cardinals added some offensive line depth on Monday. They announced they were awarded a waiver claim for offensive lineman Doug Kramer.

The Cardinals have been dealing with offensive line injuries. Guard Elijah Wilkinson is on injured reserve with a neck injury. Guard Trystan Colon missed the game on Sunday with a calf injury. Left tackle D.J. Humphries injured his ankle and right guard Will Hernandez hurt his knee. Their status is up in the air currently.

Kramer was drafted in the sixth round by the Chicago Bears in 2022 and spent his rookie season on injured reserve. He played in one game this season, playing two offensive snaps.

He played center for Illinois collegiately, where he appeared in 48 games and earned second-team All-Big Ten honors in 2021 and honorable mention honors in 2020.

To make room for him on the roster, the ream released receiver Andre Baccellia. They also released running back Hasan Hall from the practice squad.
