Cardinals inactives: OL Justin Murray active, CB Tramaine Brock out

Justin Pugh likely starts at right tackle for the third straight game.

The Arizona Cardinals have released their list of seven inactive players for their contest against the San Francisco 49ers. They are healthier than they have been but they will be without one of their key defensive backs.

Cornerback Tramaine Brock, who was limited most of the week in practice with a hamstring injury, is inactive and will not play.

Here is the full list:

  • WR Damiere Byrd
  • CB Tramaine Brock
  • RB Zach Zenner
  • RB Chase Edmonds
  • OL Lamont Gaillard
  • OL Joshua Miles
  • DL Jonathan Bullard

The emergence of Andy Isabella has pushed Byrd to the bench on game days. With Brock out, Kevin Peterson will come in and play nickel, likely pushing Byron Murphy to the slot.

Right tackle Justin Murray is active but with Miles inactive, it suggests Murray will be the tackle depth off the bench and Justin Pugh will again start at right tackle with Mason Cole at left guard.

With Bullard out, Zach Kerr will likely step into the starting lineup.
