Cardinals have had sack parties against Daniel Jones, Giants

In two games against the Cardinals, Daniel Jones has been sacked 14 times. He was sacked seven times in Week 1 and AZ had six vs. Washington.

The Arizona Cardinals’ pass rush was surprisingly good in Week 1. They sacked Washington Commanders quarterback Sam Howell six times. The six sacks came from five different players.

In Week 2, they will host the New York Giants and face quarterback Daniel Jones, a player the Cardinals have had pass-rushing success against in the past.

Jones has faced the Cardinals twice in his career. He is 0-2 and has been sacked 14 times in those two games.

It’s hard to connect previous Cardinals defenses to this year’s unit and whether or not the Cardinals can repeat that sort of success, but the pattern is there.

They have sacked Jones a lot.

They had six sacks in Week 1. Jones was sacked seven times by the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1. The Giants could be without left tackle Andrew Thomas, who has a hamstring injury.

Combine all those things and you potentially have a recipe for another sack party for Arizona.
