Cardinals bring back 12 players to practice squad, sign another

The Cardinals have not announced practice squad signings but the NFL transaction report revealed 13 additions.

The Arizona Cardinals have not yet announced any practice squad transactions. That likely isn’t coming until next week when the roster is more or less settled.

However, the NFL transaction wire has 13 players being signed to their practice squad. They re-signed 12 players they previously cut and added a new player.

On Wednesday’s transaction report, the Cardinals re-signed the following players to their practice squad.

  • WR Andre Baccellia
  • DL Eric Banks
  • OL Jackson Barton
  • LS Aaron Brewer
  • S Andre Chachere
  • RB Corey Clement
  • WR Kaden Davis
  • QB Jeff Driskel
  • OL Hayden Howerton
  • CB Bobby Price
  • TE Bernhard Seikovits
  • CB Quavian White

All 12 were with the team in the preseason and released as part of final roster cutdown.

Additionally, on Thursday’s transaction report, they added a new player.

  • S Divaad “Newt” Wilson

That gives the Cardinals 13 players on their squad. Because they have an exemption under the International Pathways Program for Seikovits, they have four spots remaining.

With some recent releases from the active roster, we can expect to see some changes by next week.
