The Lions will be without star wide receiver Kenny Golladay (hip) for Sunday’s game against the Vikings.
However, they will still have Marvin Jones Jr.
It’s no secret that Jones has had a down 2020.
Jones has just 22 catches for 265 yards and three touchdowns this season after finishing with nearly 800 yards and nine touchdowns in 13 games last season.
The good news, however, is that Jones is going up against the Vikings on Sunday, a team he has had plenty of success against.
In eight career games against Minnesota, Jones has 38 catches for 492 yards and six touchdowns.
In Week 7 of last season alone, Jones finished with 10 catches for 93 yards and four touchdowns.
Jones has eclipsed the 50-yard mark five times in those eight games.
With the Vikings without cornerbacks Holton Hill, Mike Hughes, Cam Dantzler and Mark Fields, Jones should have a big opportunity to continue this trend.
