Former Vol Cameron Sutton has signed with Detroit.

Sutton played for the Vols from 2013-16 under head coach Butch Jones.

He appeared in 45 games in a four-year career, including 45 starts, at Tennessee. Sutton left Tennessee as the Vols’ all-time career leader in passes defended. He recoded seven interceptions and 30 pass breakups for the Vols.

He missed five games as a senior due to injury.

Sutton was selected by Pittsburgh in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft (94th overall).

He recorded 168 tackles, including 143 solo, eight interceptions, two sacks and one fumble recovery with the Steelers.

Sutton came to Tennessee from Jonesboro High School in Jonesboro, Georgia.
