Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt has big plans for the offseason that he hopes translate to next season for his secondary.
Speaking at the season-ending round of interviews in Week 18, Cincinnati’s No. 1 cornerback of the future made it clear that he’s planning on stepping into that offseason leadership role.
How? As seen in footage captured by Fox 19’s Joe Danneman, he plans on rounding up the secondary for offseason workouts over the summer.
The defense ranked near the bottom of the NFL in allowances of explosive plays this season. And while a lackluster pass-rush made things harder on the secondary, swapping out two starting safeties and big shakeups to cornerback snap counts didn’t help.
This is both CTB taking a leadership role and probably doing a little extra to make sure everyone is on the same page next year:
