Cameron Johnson recorded his second career double-double on Thursday to help the Phoenix Suns to their fourth straight victory with a 114-99 win over the Indiana Pacers.
Johnson tallied 14 points and 12 rebounds in 36 minutes played while he shot 5-of-13 from the field, including 2-of-9 from 3-point range. Perhaps most impressive, Johnson turned in a strong defensive performance after finishing a game-high plus-36 while on the court.
Johnson has played very well for the Suns during the season restart, averaging 13 points and nine rebounds through four games. He has posted both of his double-doubles this season at the Wide World of Sports Complex, an indication that his game has improved.

With the win, the Suns are the only team to go undefeated thus far during the season restart. They moved to within two games of the Memphis Grizzlies in eighth place and are just one game back of the Portland Trail Blazers in ninth.
If the Suns can take sole possession of ninth place, and keep the Grizzlies’ lead in the standings to four games or fewer, they would face them in a potential play-in tournament for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
The Suns entered the restart basically already written off but the team has played exceptionally since arriving at Disney and is right in the middle of the playoff race as a result.
The Suns play next on Saturday vs. the Miami Heat.
