Caleb Williams sporting what number for Oklahoma?

QB Caleb Williams announced via twitter what number he will sport in Crimson and Cream.

Five-star prospect Caleb Williams announced what number he will be wearing in Crimson and Cream- No. 13.

The 6-1, dual-threat quarterback has the opportunity to work under the leadership of offensive guru, Lincoln Riley. OU has produced several Heisman winners and finalists at the QB position in recent years under Riley’s tutelage, and even though Spencer Rattler has the QB1 spot secured, Williams will only get better in the Big 12 program.

On Monday, Williams gave the Oklahoma fanbase a first look at his uniform via twitter.

Much like Rattler did under Jalen Hurts, Williams will study the offense and learn from No. 7 in 2021 as he awaits his time to shine. His skillset is similar to Rattler with the arm-talent and escapability element to extend plays. Oklahoma is poised for a playoff run this season and while Rattler commands the huddle for at least another year, Williams can absorb as much as possible before taking on the role in Norman.
