Offensive lineman Cade Mays has declared for the 2022 NFL draft.
Mays made his announcement Saturday.
“I am excited to continue to pursue my dream of playing in the NFL, and will be entering the 2022 NFL draft,” Mays said.
The 6-foot-6, 325-pound senior appeared in 10 games for Tennessee during the 2021 campaign. Mays played in seven contests during the 2020 season after transferring from Georgia.
Mays did not play in the Vols’ bowl game against Purdue. Purdue defeated Tennessee, 48-45 (OT), in the TransPerfect Music City Bowl Dec. 30.
