Bulls barely scrape out win over rebuilding Trail Blazers

The Chicago Bulls pulled out a win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night.

In Monday’s night game against the Portland Trail Blazers, the Chicago Bulls were up by as many as 16 points in the third quarter. They had the game wrapped up against a Portland squad that has struggled for the entire season. But then, the Trail Blazers fought back. And in the final few minutes of the game, they even took the lead.

Anfernee Simons scored 12 points in the final frame, dragging his team back into the contest. But the Bulls’ defense came to play when it mattered most. They completely shut down the Trail Blazers in the final three minutes of the game, as Portland didn’t make a field goal.

The Locked On Bulls podcast discussed the win afterward.

DeMar DeRozan led the way for Chicago with 28 points. In addition, Ayo Dosunmu poured in 23 points, and Nikola Vucevic added 22 of his own.

Meanwhile, Simons finished with 30 points, and Deandre Ayton scored 25.
