Buffs to be without Tristan da Silva at Washington State

Tristan da Silva is expected to miss Sunday’s game at Washington State

Starting forward Tristan da Silva is expected to miss his second consecutive game for the Buffs on Sunday at Washington State, Pat Rooney of BuffZone reported. Rooney relayed that Tad Boyle said da Silva is dealing with a “COVID-related illness.”

Da Silva was also sidelined for Thursday’s game vs. Washington due to what was then reported as a non-COVID illness, but that is now unclear.

The native of Germany had scored double-digit points in six of his last seven games before sitting out against Washington, which saw Elijah Parquet be reinserted into the starting lineup. Nique Clifford should now get his fifth consecutive start on Sunday.
