As the college basketball offseason has begun to heat up in the wake of Kansas’ recent national championship victory, the Colorado Buffaloes have gotten busy. On Thursday, they landed a commitment from 2022 forward Bobi Klintman as well as a transfer portal commit in the form of Princeton guard Ethan Wright.
Wright joins the Buffaloes with one year of NCAA eligibility remaining. He’s had an impressive run since he joined the Tigers in 2018, finishing his Princeton career 18th all-time in program history with 199 3-pointers made. In 2021-22, he averaged 14.7 points and 6.9 rebounds per game and sunk 70 3-pointers over the course of 30 games played. Wright shot an impressive 50% from the field and 70.6% from the free-throw line.
He also helped lead the Tigers to a 23-7 season with a 12-2 record against Ivy League opponents. The skilled shooter will likely assume many of the minutes lost from Keeshawn Barthelemy’s departure.
