How quickly can Allen and Diggs get on the same page?

With the coronavirus pandemic, Allen and Diggs have had limited time to work together. Under normal circumstances, the duo would be a part of organized team activities developing their understanding of offensive coordinator Brian Daboll‘s playbook.

The pair did work out together in Florida in May. They will ramp up their preparations for the season during training camp.

How long will it take them to completely get on the same page? That is something to ponder. There have been some criticisms of Diggs, albeit from the Minnesota contingency, regarding his attitude.

If the pair struggles out of the gate, there is concern that this relationship could sour and linger throughout the year. McDermott will have his finger on the pulse of this situation. However, there is added pressure for Allen and Diggs to become comfortable with each other very quickly. Buffalo is setup to win now, and a struggle between the quarterback and his No. 1 receiver could hinder the progress into the victory column.
