Who can be a surprise addition to the final roster?

There are a few slingshots within this group. White, Wallace, Norman, and Johnson are the definites with this unit. Beyond them, the battle for snaps will be a challenge.

EJ Gaines had a successful stint in Buffalo in 2017. He started 11 games, registering 58 tackles, nine passes defended, forced three fumbles and recorded an interception. The oft-injured cornerback played only six games in 2018 and missed the entire 2019 campaign with a core injury suffered last summer. Gaines is an intriguing name, as when healthy, he could push Wallace and Norman for time on the field.

Cam Lewis spent last year on the team’s practice squad. He is the best bet of the surprise players who could force their way onto the roster. Nevertheless, he is a longshot with the line of players ahead of him. However, Gaines’ injury history could put Lewis in line to earn consideration for the final roster.
