The Buffalo Bills have won the 2021 AFC East title with their 27-10 win over the New York Jets in Week 18.
The Bills (11-6) had their ups and downs against the Jets (4-13) to conclude the regular season. But the final score fell in their favor just enough.
Heading into Sunday, the Bills were in a win and the divisional title was theirs situation. Business was handled.
The other scenario sat with the New England Patriots.
Facing the Miami Dolphins (9-8) the Patriots (10-7) needed a win and Buffalo loss to win the division themselves.
Instead, both scenarios unfolded for the Bills, they won and the Pats ended up losing anyway.
The divisional title is the second-straight one that the Bills have won after doing so last season.
It’s the first time since 1995 that the team has won the title while winning their finale in Orchard Park at home.
