The Buffalo Bills have had some movement in their secondary at the cornerback position recently. In response, the team signed cornerback Brian Allen.
The team announced the move on Friday.
Allen’s signing comes after the team held a workout with Allen and two other cornerbacks on Tuesday. Allen, 26, was a fifth-round pick of the Steelers in 2017 and has only played special teams in his career. Allen does have excellent length for a defensive back though, standing awt 6-foot-3. He was recently released by the Seahawks.
Allen has a chance to battle for a depth spot on Buffalo’s roster. Potential No. 2 corner Josh Norman has battled a hamstring injury recently while UDFA rookie Ike Brown retired earlier this week.
