Jordan Phillips will not suit up for the Buffalo Bills (9-3) in Week 14 against the New York Jets.
On Friday, head coach Sean McDermott ruled Phillips out for the matchup. He made the announcement during his weekly Friday segment on the team’s radio affiliate, WGR-550.
Phillips played in most of the game last week against the New England Patriots, however, he was injured on a very late play when he took a dive at quarterback Mac Jones. He sustained a shoulder injury on the play.
Despite Phillips saying he was “fine” after the contest, Phillips will not play this week.
Throughout practices in recent days, Phillips had not worked out at all.
The Bills will release their full final injury report and designation for Sunday’s game later on Friday. Bills Wire will provide that information when it is made available.
