Seven receptions, 184 yards and two touchdowns is how Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin finished out the Bucs’ 35-22 over the Atlanta Falcons. There are some cases for players like Devin White, Carlton Davis, and even Jameis Winston to be our player of the week, however, it’s hard to go against the tremendous production of Godwin today.
Midway through the first quarter, Winston connected with Godwin on a 71-yard touchdown pass. The coverage was good and perhaps the window was too tight, but Godwin hauled it in while beating the defense on his way to the end zone.

In the second quarter, Winston threw the ball from the Falcons’ one-yard line, well behind Godwin, who was able to turn around and reel it in for his second score of the day, putting the Bucs up 13-10 at that point.
