The Tampa Bay Buccaneers might have to finish Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers without one of their most important defenders.

Safety Antoine Winfield Jr. is being evaluated for a concussion, after taking a knee to the head while making a tackle for loss in the third quarter.

Cornerback Anthony Chesley, who was elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game, has also been ruled out with a hamstring injury.

The Bucs are already without safety Logan Ryan, as well as two of their top three cornerbacks, so losing both Winfield and Chesley would leave their secondary even thinner for the rest of the day.
