It’s November, but it still isn’t cold enough outside to bring out the red uniforms, it seems.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to face off against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, and despite making it to November and out of the fall, the team still doesn’t want to wear its red jerseys. The Bucs announced on Thursday that the team will wear red over pewter at home Sunday, meaning that the team has only worn red once in 10 weeks.
The Bucs have worn red over pewter twice before this and are 1-1 in the uniform combo. The team wore it in its first game of the season against the Vikings and picked up a win, but wore it against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football and lost. With this being the third time this uniform will appear, it’s the second-most worn combo the Tampa Bay has worn — the Bucs have worn white over white four times so far this season.
