Bucs interview Lions’ Scottie Montgomery for offensive coordinator job

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have added yet another name to their wide-ranging search for a new offensive coordinator

Another day, another name thrown into the hat, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue their wide-ranging search for a new offensive coordinator.

The latest to join the fray? Scottie Montgomery, the assistant head coach/running backs coach for the Detroit Lions, who interviewed for the open position Monday.

Montgomery spent the past two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, and was hired by Lions for his current role just five days ago. He’s the ninth different candidate to interview for the job vacated by Byron Leftwich following a disappointing 2022 season for the Tampa Bay offense.
