Bucs hire Justin Peelle as new tight ends coach

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a new tight ends coach in Justin Peelle

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have added to their coaching staff for the 2024 season, hiring Justin Peelle to serve as their new tight ends coach, the team announced Wednesday.

A fourth-round pick out of Oregon in the 2002 NFL draft, Peelle spent a decade in the NFL, splitting his time between the San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers.

As a coach, the former tight end spent most of his 11 years in the league with the Philadelphia Eagles before serving as the tight ends coach for the Atlanta Falcons over the past three seasons.

Peelle replaces John Van Dam, who is now a pass game assistant under new offensive coordinator Liam Coen.
