Buccaneers RB Leonard Fournette tweeted his Super Bowl appearance into existence 7 years ago

For everyone, it always feels great to check the goals off of your list — no matter how big or small.

Leonard Fournette is about to check a pretty big one off of his list next Sunday: Playing in the Super Bowl. Obviously, this is the pantheon for NFL players. It’s the sports’ biggest stage. Everyone wants to get there.

But, of course, some players don’t. They never get that chance. Fournette, though? He knew he would. He tweeted it seven years ago back in 2014 during his senior year of high school.

Fournette tweeted “Can’t wait til I play in that Super Bowl.” On Sunday, he’ll get that chance.
