The Alabama starting quarterback, Bryce Young, has apparently worked nearly a million dollars worth of NIL deals with brands and companies, he has also reportedly turned down just as much in offers.
Today, it was reported by the Hollywood Reporter that Young’s latest venture include dipping into the media side of things, as he will join Colin Cowherd and iHeartRadio’s The Volume Podcast Network.
The show, The Bryce Young Podcast, will be hosted by Young, and he will be accompanied by Jake Crain, who currently hosts The JBoy Show, which is also on The Volume Network.
“I think this generation, that is what they know, that is what they have grown up with their whole life. So them putting a microphone in front of their face and doing a 30-45–minute show, talking about the week? That’s a Thursday night for them. It’s not outside the box. It is very much who they are,” says Young’s NIL agent, Ed Berry. “I definitely think this will be the first of many that you see make these types of moves.”
Young is fresh off of his debut as the Crimson Tide’s starting quarterback, where he broke numerous records and silenced any doubters heading into the 2021 college football season.
Roll Tide Wire will continue to cover Young as he adds to his resume through his work on, and off, the field.
