Bryce Young is Alabama’s X-Factor against Auburn

Need QB1 to have a big game against Alabama’s far-east rival on Saturday!

Before I even say it, you know it to be true. Bryce Young is Alabama’s x-factor for the Iron Bowl on Saturday.

Young needs to have a massive game against a defense that’s hit a slump late in the year but could fix itself at any moment.

Auburn has a decent pass-rush, so Young will need to get the ball out of his hands quickly. The offensive line will be key in this, as well. Young has shown lately that he isn’t afraid of scrambling, something that he seemed reluctant to do through most of the season. Getting away from the pass-rush will be key in maintaining drives and putting points on the board.

Auburn’s secondary is not as good as thought to be. Safety Smoke Monday is the best player there, but they haven’t lived up to expectations, needless to say. Just two weeks ago, Monday was quoted as saying Auburn has the best pass defense in the country. Not long after, Mississippi State’s air-raid offense smoked Monday and the Auburn Tigers.

Alabama shouldn’t have too many problems against this Auburn team, but I’ve been wrong once this season (Texas A&M). Young definitely has the ability to turn Auburn on their heads by the time we get a final result.
