In the midst of putting together a MVP-worthy season, Bryce Harper found the time to give this young Phillies fan a moment to remember.
During Thursday night’s comeback game for the Phillies against the Pittsburgh Pirates, Harper made his way out to his typical spot in right field late in the game. In between innings, Harper noticed a sign held by a young Phillies fan in the stands on the first base line which read “No. 3, will you play catch with me?” and then proceed to play catch with the kid!
Here’s the adorable moment between Harper and the young Phillies fan as the former got in a handful of his warmup throws.
What's that? Just your #MV3 having a catch with a fan who brought a "have a catch with me Bryce" sign. @Phillies @bryceharper3 #RingTheBell pic.twitter.com/SaP4vaxXdG

What a moment! Of course, the young fan was able to keep the ball he tossed around with Harper in what is sure to be a memory and a souvenir to last a lifetime.
That’s our boy, we waited in hopes of getting the ball signed but the memory of the catch will be one we will have forever! #classact thank you @bryceharper3 pic.twitter.com/9BSP6QBd9h

Though Harper went hitless with three walks on Thursday, the Phillies were able to mount a six-run comeback to best the Pirates 12-6 to keep their playoff hopes alive.
