Bryce Harper mashed a clutch grand slam that tied the game and sent Phillies fans into a frenzy

“YEAH BABY!”

Bryce Harper did it again!

With the Philadelphia Phillies in a tight spot, down 6-2 in the eighth inning against the Los Angeles Angels, Harper did what he does best as the reigning National League MVP: hit a clutch home run. With the bases loaded and two outs with a 3-2 count, Harper was in prime position to get the Phillies back into the game late with a big play.

And what a play it was! Harper absolutely smashed a grand slam deep to right field, clearing the bases with a monster hit that sent the home Phillies fans into a fervor. Here’s how Harper’s clutch grand slam came to be.

What a shot! And Harper was completely fired up after that game-tying grand slam.

This isn’t the first time Harper has had a monstrous grand slam for the Phillies, as he walked off the Chicago Cubs in 2019 in the bottom of the ninth with a home run that was all too similar to this one.

It took a bit more heroics from Bryson Stott in the ninth inning for the Phillies to secure the comeback victory, but Harper’s bomb got Phillies fans hyped beyond belief.
