Bryan Harsin to drive pace car at Talladega Superspeedway

Bryan Harsin is set to drive the pace car for the GEICO 500

[autotag]Bryan Harsin[/autotag] has spent his entire life around racing and on Sunday he is set to drive the pace car for the GEICO 500 race at Talladega Superspeedway.

The race is set to start at 2 p.m. on FOX and is part of the NASCAR Cup Series and will last 188 laps.

Racing is part of the Harsin family. His father, Dale, was a drag racer and now owns The Outlaw Dale Harsin Racing team. Bryan used to race before he rose up the coaching ranks.

Harsin is entering his second season as Auburn’s head coach and is looking to bounce back from a disappointing end to the season and a tumultuous offseason. Auburn ended the season on a five-game losing streak and had significant attrition over the offseason on both the roster and coaching staff.
