As the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans look to matchup in Week 2, we take a look at the players who will be missing the game and the adjustments because of it.
Odell Beckham Jr. was ruled out at the start of the week by head coach Kevin Stefanski.
With that out of the way, all week the biggest question for the Browns was the status of left tackle Jedrick Wills and his backup Chris Hubbard. Hubbard was ruled out earlier this week but the decision on Wills was a game-time one.
As first reported by Mary Kay Cabot, Wills will be active for the game.
Browns Inactives
- WR Odell Beckham Jr.
- S Richard LeCounte III
- LB Tony Fields II
- DT Tommy Togiai
Donovan Peoples-Jones will start at wide receiver while Malcolm Smith will be the starting MIKE linebacker.
Texans Inactives
- WR Anthony Miller
- QB Deshaun Watson
- TE Brevin Jordan
- DB Jimmy Moreland
- RB Scottie Phillips
- DL Jonathan Greenard
- DL Demarcus Walker
Watson is no surprise and likely to remain inactive all year or until he is cleared legally. Miller has a lot of fans around the league but hasn’t really taken hold after being traded from Chicago.
