Browns sign LB Dakota Allen back to practice squad

After releasing him from the active roster earlier this week, the Browns have signed Dakota Allen back to their practice squad

After releasing him from the active roster earlier this week, the Cleveland Browns have signed linebacker Dakota Allen back to their practice squad. The Browns cleared a spot on their practice squad yesterday by releasing 2021 sixth round safety Richard LeCounte III from the practice squad.

Allen’s release from the active roster is almost a sure-sign signal that linebacker Deion Jones is going to be activated from Injured Reserve this week. Thus far this season, Allen has been elevated from the practice squad once, then signed to the active roster last week. Allen may once again get an opportunity to dress on gamedays for the Browns in 2022.
