The Cleveland Browns upgraded their defensive tackle room a day ago, adding veteran Shelby Harris to round out their overhaul. Unfortunately, however, when a player is added a subsequent release has to happen to make room for that player. To clear a roster spot for Harris, the Browns have released another defensive tackle in the form of Michael Dwumfour.
Signed this offseason, predominantly as a camp body after a stint with the Houston Texans, Dwumfour failed to make an impact in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game.
As the Browns get set to take on the Washington Commanders, it is unlikely we see Harris, but others will have a chance to prove their worth.
