Browns QB Jacoby Brissett ‘is not hiding from anything’ as Chargers game nears

Jacoby Brissett knows he has to get better and is not shying away from the work.

The offensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns Alex Van Pelt spoke to the media today, and touchdowns on quarterback Jacoby Brissett. Through the first four games, Brissett has played just about as you would expect a journeyman backup and spot starting quarterback to play: volatile.

He has posted two positive games against the New York Jets and the Pittsburgh Steelers, then left plays on the table against the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons. Van Pelt, however, has confidence Brissett is putting in the work:

“He’s not hiding from anything. He knows he has to play better in those situations and he will moving forward. I’m not worried about Jacoby.”

As the Browns look to steal a win from the Los Angeles Chargers, they will certainly need the Brissett of Weeks 2 and 3 to make an appearance.
