Browns projected to replace Deshaun Watson in new 2025 NFL mock draft

Could the Browns really use their first top-32 pick in three years on another quarterback?

In one of their first mock drafts, after the regular season has kicked off, The Draft Network has made a bold prediction for the Cleveland Browns. The mock draft currently has the Browns selecting Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward with the sixteenth overall pick to replace current quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Cam Ward is currently on a tear to begin his Miami career and is considered the NCAA’s best passer in the season’s first three weeks.

The display Deshaun Watson has presented on the field so far has failed to show promise despite his decent record as a starter. He currently has fifteen touchdowns and eleven interceptions in his three years as a Cleveland Brown. This has led to many questions about when the Browns will hit the reset button on the quarterback position.

If a player as talented as Cam Ward is available at such a great value, it would be hard for Andrew Berry to let him pass.
