Browns lose Jedrick Wills Jr. vs. Cardinals with knee injury; questionable to return

Cleveland Browns LT Jedrick Wills Jr. left the game against the Cardinals with a knee injury. He is questionable to return.

Left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. left the Week 9 matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and Cleveland Browns during the second quarter. The lineman injured his knee on a pass play where he got tangled with a defender. He walked off the field under his own power and immediately headed to the medical tent before walking into the locker room a minute before halftime began. Wills is questionable to return.

Wills had a streaky performance today, dominating his opponent for most of the game. Earlier in the game, he was called for a holding penalty on a Deshaun Watson scramble that caused the drive to stall. Hopefully, he can return after halftime.

The Browns have replaced Wills with backup swing tackle James Hudson III. Hudson is a stalwart backup and the offense should have no problem against the Cardinals with him playing. The Browns marched down the field to kick a field goal in Hudson’s only drive. The team is currently leading the Cardinals 13-0.

UPDATE: Wills is back on the field for the Browns.
