The Cleveland Browns, thanks to Jameis Winston in all regards, found themselves in a shootout with the red-hot Denver Broncos.
The Browns lived by the arm and died by the arm of Winston.
There was no better example of this than when Winston threw an interception for a touchdown, followed directly by a masterclass of a two-minute drill that ended in a touchdown to tight end David Njoku. In the end, however, Winston’s three interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns, were the difference maker in Cleveland’s 41-32 loss to the Broncos.
Winston threw for a massive 497 yards and four touchdowns. Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy had himself a revenge game against his former team, racking up 235 yards and a touchdown on nine catches from Winston. Elijah Moore also racked up 111 yards on eight catches, and Njoku added 52 yards on nine catches on top of his earlier-mentioned touchdowns.
Even Michael Woods II, straight off of being elevated from the practice squad, racked up 43 yards on three catches. Those three interceptions, however, bogged the Browns down and gave the Broncos 14 points the defense was not responsible for.

Alas, at least Browns football is fun again as receivers like Moore and Jeudy (now on pace for his first-ever 1,000-yard season) are experiencing career seasons behind the arm of Winston. That will not change, and both players breaking out with a quarterback capable of stepping through pressure and finding backside receivers certainly has its merits.
He has five games left to audition as the starting quarterback of the Cleveland Browns. The Browns may only win two more, but at least the fireworks will ignite in the meantime.
